THE SILENT SHOUT
I can remember that night when the cold wind began.
There were no words to say,
No vision to guide in the darkness,
And nobody could breathe without fear.
A deep cloud covered the Earth
As never before
And there was no shelter
No place to hideaway.
In those days the rich and the poor
The young and the old man
The degreed and the no degreed
Everybody was in the same ship to nowhere
A message in a bottle passed by, but nobody noticed
Wisdom wasn’t in mind
Love wasn’t in heart
Fish weren’t in the river and birds had stopped their song
In those days we could appreciate the value of a hug,
A walk took by the hand with your beloved
The sweetest kiss from your kids
A lovely embrace to your ancient beloved ones
Suddenly the Silent Shout became
It was the day of the last chance, so our souls were naked
A shiny golden boy stood over the Earth and fixed a stick with two arrows
At the 22 parade walkers found a cross-way decision path.
A question involved the whole world
Are we ready to learn?
Then a little girl took the message in the bottle
And shared the wellness wise words
That day the human race opened their eyes.
Their mouth began to speak the old-new universal language
So breezes crossed the whole world and push the darkness away
And finally, we could breathe without fear.
And it was forever.
